When taking the HVP, it is helpful to be in a place where distractions are minimized.  Usually it is best to do the survey first thing in the morning.  The HVP typically takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey works best where you can see the phrases all together on one screen.  It can be taken on a phone but it is much more difficult. You will be using a drag and drop process to reorder the phrases.

Follow in the instrcutions on each section.  Click Next after the first section.  Click finish when completing the second section.  You can click your back browser button to review the first section.

Give your order of phrases a bit of thoughtful consideration, but do not “over think” the process. It is a straightforward exercise. Simply arrange the phrases or words in order from “best” to “worst”, or from what you agree with the “most” to what you agree with the “least”.

We will see the best results if you take your time ranking each group.  Be sure to carefully review your responses before clicking the “Next” or “Finish” buttons.

After clicking Finish you can return to this page to complete the next assessment.

Remember to RELAX.  This is not a test and there are no “right” or “wrong” answers.
